Over the past year or so my interest in everything typography has really flourished. I’ve begun trying my hand at minimal typography works, but creating even the most minimal pieces using typographic symbols is actually quite daunting at this point. Recently, an influx of designers interested in typography have released their creative arts on the web, many of which you can purchase! Such as these marvelous House Industries Ampersand Tee Shirts & The Ampersand Shoppe Tees.
However, thanks to Niki @ Creattica, I’ve discovered the most addicting typographic experience yet, Type Is Art. Type Is Art, is an interactive flash application that allows you to construct pieces based upon the 21 parts of letterforms. Before you go, I have to warn you… you can easily lose an afternoon on this site.
